More than anything though, Automatron proves that Bethesda still has what it takes to make quality experiences that fans can jump back into. When the content of the season pass was first announced it didn't exactly send the hype machine into overdrive, with many players expecting the majority of the updates to be mere filler until a proper expansion released in May.
Fortunately though, Automatron is clear proof that even the cheaper and seemingly inconsequential expansions featured in the season pass are going to be worthwhile, as it's clear that Bethesda are dedicated to providing quality content with each and every DLC release they have in the pipeline. Horse armour this ain't.
So while the latest release isn't the longest or the meatiest, it's a promise of things to come, and it's more than enough to tide us by until Far Harbour hits the online store in May.
