9 Video Games That Let You Hilariously Troll Other Players

5. Watch Dogs' Hacking Invasions

Taking a page out of Dark Souls' book, both the original Watch Dogs and its sequel featured a mechanic where malicious players could invade another person's game and attempt to hack their character.

Endeavouring to keep out of danger while the hack is processing, invading players could hide in vehicles down the street, find a vantage point on a roof or, if they were feeling particularly ballsy, simply stand across the road from their opponent.

It encouraged a similar playstyle as Assassin's Creed's multiplayer, as trying to act like a natural part of the world would often result in a successful hacking attempt and the enemy player looking like a fool when they pulled a gun out on an unsuspecting NPC.

There was more complexity to the system than in that game though, as you could also hack the world itself to distract and baffle the person looking for you. Causing traffic accidents or messing around with electronics in the environment could torment players trying to snuff you out, and keep them focused on all the wrong things while you quietly slipped away undetected.
