Coming out of E3, there was one word on everybody's lips:

Cyberpunk (and a number: 2077).

Why? Because CD Projekt RED seemed to have cottoned onto the same thought process as Rockstar when it comes to the future of the open-world genre. Eyes-on reports noted that the world of Cyberpunk was genuinely "alive" with bustling streets, people entering/exiting shops, crimes and whatever else you'd associate with a bio-augmented futurescape.

Back to Red Dead, and clearly that same care and attention has been paid to the old west. Red Dead's America is awash in peoples' daily routines and the whims and wants of society.
