Assassin's Creed Origins: 11 Early Reactions You Need To Know

6. You Can Buy Loot With Real Money, But It's Not Necessary

Assassins Creed Origins
Ubisoft

While Ubisoft is sticking to their promise of not including loot boxes in the latest Assassin's Creed that you can buy with real-world money, there are still Helix cards available to purchase that can give you access to legendary gear early.

Fortunately though, the system isn't that intrusive or controversial, simply acting as an option for players with disposable income to fast-track their way to success.

Likewise, the best gear in the title is still readily accessible and relatively easy to find on your journey throughout the game's open world.

Apparently there aren't any roadblocks or needlessly grindy sections that make acquiring the loot unappealing, and so the ability to spend money on cards to get items quicker doesn't look to be that intrusive. It might have been better if the option wasn't there at all, but at least it doesn't have to ruin the experience for those who can't pay up for the best gear.
