Assassin's Creed Origins: 5 Locations We Need To See After Egypt

4. British India

Assassin's Creed has already been to British India in its Chronicles series, but that was just a taster of what could come. British India was all about politics. First, the East India Company (you know, the one that was forever chasing Jack Sparrow around the Carribean) founded a couple of ports before infiltrating the country and annexing a large proportion of it. It would be against this backdrop that the game would be set.

Funnilly enough, The East India Company was not adverse to piracy of its own. With the game set in Bombay, modern day Mumbai, the successful naval battles of Black Flag could be reintroduced to great effect.

The story pretty much writes itself. British India is run by the Templars and they are looking to find a piece of Eden, you are the Indian Assassin trying to stop them and, hopefully, liberate your country. It might not be the most original concept, but India is such a vibrant and diverse country that religion and culture could easily be brought into the Assassin's Creed canon-think Temple of Doom, only with less still-beating human hearts, and monkey brains. With Origins seemingly introducing massive serpents to the series, then anything is possible.
