Assassin's Creed 2020: 8 Improvements Fans Need To See
1. Remove Microtransactions
As proven by every single game that has included them, microtransactions add literally nothing to a gameplay experience, especially if it is a single-player one.
The inclusion of this kind of purchase in Odyssey seemed to have even more of a backlash than usual with the fact that an XP booster that negated a lot of the more grindy elements of the game cost ten dollars.
Instead, the next game (or hopefully an update to Odyssey itself) would include a toggle that would allow those who wanted to focus on the main story to push on ahead, while those who wanted to take their time and complete side missions could increase their level through doing optional activities, if at a slower pace.
But, whatever the solution ends up being, the option to purchase things like this, or even cosmetics (though at least you have a chance of getting them through interacting with Oikos in Phokis), is becoming more and more archaic, so Ubisoft should get ahead of the competition by scrapping this utterly useless feature.
