5. Haytham Kenway
Assassin's Creed III was structured differently from it's brethren before it in order to give us a more fully rounded glimpse at the stage on which the never-ending battle between the Assassins and the Templar was set. As such, when the game first opened, we're givin immediate control not of Connor, but of his father, head of the Boston Templars Haytham Kenway. As a result of this, not only did I find it easier to empathise with Connor's struggle, I found myself actually relating quite deeply to Haytham, who don't forget is basically the game's main antagonist. This was definitely a first for the series and further pushed that familiar AC brand of moral ambiguity to whole new powerful yet subtle lengths. I'd absolutely love to have more time with Haytham as part of a DLC pack (in spite of the fact that he can't climb trees), perhaps in a more detailed account of his life before moving to Boston to establish his order. I'd even be totally on board with experienceing some of the major plot points in Assassin's Creed III but from Haytham's perspective - what was he up to while Connor was freeing America from the tyranny of the British? I'd genuinely love to know more, and I'm sure I can't be the only one. Given the fact that Haytham was a controllable character early on, I'm fairly certain this'd be an easy one to pull off, and again, definitely one I'd shell out extra currency for.
