4. The Mark Of Death Ability
Since chained assassinations only become a possibility when following the Path of the Raven for a while, sneaking past a selection of guards could prove to be quite difficult early on in your playthrough. And since killing these guards one-by-one while in stealth is not always possible, rushing into battle may seem to be your only option.
To make things easier for yourself, go ahead and pick up the Mark of Death ability, which allows Eivor to hold his aim on enemies to summon multiple hit markers. Not only can this ability get rid of multiple enemies at a time, using it strategically will prevent a full scale battle from breaking out.
The Book of Knowledge containing this ability can be found in the village of Alkestrad in Norway, but requires some detective work to find. In the Southern-most region of the village is an old hut with some pigs outside. By rummaging through the mud closest to the pigs you'll find a key.
After this discovery, look for some hanging boxes near to the hut and shoot the pulley above them. Drop down the newly-made hole and use the key you discovered earlier to access the Book of Knowledge.
