Assassin’s Creed: Victory - 6 Details You Totally Missed From The Teaser
He's not an Assassin?!
Here we go, another year means another run-up to the release of another Assassin's Creed - but man, if there's not something about this franchise that continually looks like it's going to turn things around, despite the last few entries not being the most solid affairs. Obviously the biggest sore thumb is 2014's Unity, the latest iteration outside of spin-off Chronicles that required constant patching and a re-download of the entire game on Xbox One (to the tune of 40GB) to even get to a playable state, although with this year's instalment the series is coming to English shores - and Victorian London to be specific. So far, aside from a leak of screenshots at the tail-end of last year there's not been anything released to suggest gameplay or artistic direction outside of the aforementioned setting - although you will get access to a grappling hook at some point. However, May 7th has seen Ubisoft do the PR dance with a teaser-for-a-teaser, and although it's literally just one still shot of whoever our character is standing still, there's plenty to pick apart and analyse already - including the tantalising prospect that we're not actually playing as an Assassin at all.
