The category many have waited for, as action games seem to be the driving force behind the industry. The list contained the cream of the crop for AAA titles.

The Nominations Far Cry 3 Borderlands 2 Mass Effect 3 Hitman: Absolution Call Of Duty: Black Ops II Halo 4 Winner Far Cry 3 The well received game is definitely the greatest installment in the series, as a young guy on holiday with friends, you're captured by pirates. Managing to escape this is a tale fueled by vengeance as you try to rescue and reunite with your loved ones. I imagine the Far Cry team would like to thank Journey for not being an action game too!
