3. Rival Factions Seek To Capture Batman (Including The Cops)
With the tagline "Capture the Knight" being the only thing that we know for sure about the new Arkham, the widespread rumour is that the game will make Batman the target for a number of rival factions looking for his capture. The logos and symbols in WB Montreal's tweets, the theory then goes, represent these various factions.
Speculation about the latest image has wondered if it is made up of a bunch of tiny visual clues. For example, perhaps the cross at the bottom of the shield represents Azrael's crusading Order Of St Dumas, which was referenced in Arkham Knight.
More likely, however, is that the image as a whole is the badge of the Gotham City Police Department, which would mean that the uneasy alliance between the cops and a billionaire vigilante with unchecked power may be over, and that the authorities are as keen to capture the knight as the villains are.
Assuming that the new game is set after Arkham Knight, this would make sense. Batman's identity being revealed to the world as Bruce Wayne would make it kind of difficult for the cops to keep looking the other way (assuming we move beyond the small hurdle of the public also thinking that Bruce is dead).
