5. Batsuit Taser

Seen in: Batman #609, The Dark Knight Something rarely seen in the movies, some iterations on the suit have featured a built-in defence mechanism that gives an electric shock to anybody attempting to get too close. Even in The Dark Knight hardly any of us realised what was going on in the scene just after Batman crashes his bike to avoid hitting the Joker on the high street, as when his suit becomes electrified and the random thug attempting to de-mask him gets shocked, it looked as if Joker had done it to get at his prize first. It's something that we'd most likely not be able to control directly as it's purely for defence in the most dire situations when there's nothing else left to try, but all the same the idea of the suit having certain measures in place to prevent people from discovering Bruce's identity - even when he's unconscious - could be used to great effect in the story.
