Batman: Arkham Knight - 10 Huge Things We Learned At E3
4. The Batmobile Looks Badass
Thankfully our hero is more than equipped to contend with tanks or anything else the assembled might of Gotham's criminal element might throw at him over the course of Arkham Knight, as the game introduces his iconic Batmobile as playable for the first time. We've seen glimpses of the vehicle before, but this is the first time we've really seen it in action. Apart from looking super cool - a cross between the traditional comic book incarnation and the rugged "tumbler" from the Christopher Nolan films - it looks like a dream to drive, too. Having had his fill of soaring Gotham's skies, the E3 trailer sees Batman hit the ground running and calling for his ride, with the Batmobile skidding into view as its driver leaps into the seat and takes control. This military-grade Batmobile pulls no punches as it takes out street furniture, walls and the Arkham Knight's tanks with equal ease, with what looks like some decent handling mechanics (which would make or break the introduction of driving to the series) and weapons. Even though, y'know, Batman's technically anti-guns - but we did get a breakdown of the weaponry just last week.
