Batman: Arkham Knight - 10 Insane Moments You Need To Play

4. Identity Of Arkham Knight Reveal

Arkham Knight does a remarkable job of making the Batman world accessible to newcomers and hardcore fans of the franchise alike. The sheer wealth of information available is brilliant - never overwhelming, the simple biographies for each character when met are excellently done.

For longtime fans, it probably didn't take a lot of guess work to figure out who the 'Arkham Knight' character actually was, but the game makes stellar work of drawing the player in, before hitting them with a huge twist. Several flashback scenes show The Joker torturing Jason Todd, previously filling the role of Robin.

Eventually, Todd is shot by the smiling mad man, but that's not where his story ends. This 'Arkham Knight' is actually Jason Todd himself, a man who blames Batman for his plight, and wants revenge. There were a fair few fans disappointed with this, because the Knight was claimed to be an original character, but the story is very well told, and it makes sense somehow that Todd would reinvent himself to chase the Batman.
