Batman Arkham Knight: 10 Rumours You Need To Know

1. Superman Is In Arkham Knight?!

Warner Bros.Warner Bros.IMDB is a fantastic resource for researching your favourite films, TV shows and games. Seeing who provided that one voice that one time is great and easy information to have out there, and if they are smart, most companies provide IMDB with accurate listings to go public as soon as the film, TV show or game comes out, because familiar names still sell tickets and copies. Unfortunately, most of that system is automated, and as the saying goes - accidents happen! In this case we're extremely happy about that, because the voice credits for Batman Arkham Knight were briefly put up on the site and revealed some extremely interesting roles that hadn't yet been announced. Apparently, taken with a pinch of salt, along with the announced characters gracing Batman Arkham Knight will be Superman (played by George Newbern), Nightwing (played by Quinton Flynn), Robin (played by Scott Menville), and Azrael (played by Khary Payton). Superman and Batman have long been great characters to see together in many comics, games, pretty much anything DC, especially an upcoming film which is leading in to a reported Justice League Of America franchise to rival the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is a slight surprise to see him turning up in this version of Gotham though. One of the leading theories for the identity of the Arkham Knight is the Damian Wayne version of Robin, so this leak may lend a little credence to that theory, but our money is still on Tommy Elliott! Finally, it is also extremely fitting to see Azrael listed in the cast, as he is a character primarily involved in warning Batman of the coming apocalypse in which Gotham will burn to the ground. The ancient prophecy goes that Batman is the warrior that will prevent the apocalypse, saving Gotham and the world, but fall in the process. Azrael appears in Batman Arkham City to reveal the prophecy to Batman. Let's hope he's correct, and we get the incredible finale we expect from the skilled hands at Rocksteady!
