Batman Arkham Knight: 13 Ultimate Wishlist Features That Need To Happen
How to make Rocksteady's farewell to Batman the perfect full-stop.
Batman: Arkham Knight is the next, 4th, and reportedly final entry into the Arkham series of Batman games that has been produced by Warner Bros, Rocksteady Games, and most recently WB Montreal studios. Not only is Arkham Knight the first next-generation Batman game to be produced, but it is also the final Batman game in the extremely successful Arkham series, and to celebrate that auspicious event, we're looking at what features this game MUST HAVE when it lands later this year. This Batman gaming series has not been without its flaws: overall opinions are that the third and most recent entry, Arkham Origins is by far the weakest game of the series - somewhat unsurprisingly considering Rocksteady weren't involve - while Arkham City, the sequel to the first and groundbreaking Arkham Asylum from 2009, is still the best. Gamers and critics alike are hoping for a true return to form for this final game: the potential is certainly there, with the game coming once again from Rocksteady and not WB Montreal, but all eyes are now on this newly announced, probable fall release to see if this Arkham-era Batman can go out in grand style. Ahead of any more announcements, we've put together our own list of exactly what this game must have in order to conclude the Arkham franchise on a high note. This is our ultimate wishlist: all bets are off, let's pull out all the stops and really dive into the Batman legend and make this a truly grand finale. There is still quite a bit of untapped potential to be unleashed in this Arkham universe, so let's count down what we hope to see featured in this final, next-gen Arkham gaming experience.
