Batman Arkham Knight: 13 Ultimate Wishlist Features That Need To Happen

13. The Final Chapter In The Arkham Story Must be Told

The entire Arkham story line has been a fantastic tale that has included both the obscure and the classic Batman villains, as well as nods to past comic book stories as well as the older television shows and characters, all of which are intertwined; thus giving us all a larger look into the vast, troubled, and expansive Gotham City. The overall story itself has weaved a fantastic tale involving the criminal underworld that Batman routinely has to deal with, including his full Rogues' Gallery and the surprising death of The Joker. But keep in mind: the franchise itself has Arkham in the title - we must stay close to home as this story finally comes to an end. This final instalment of the gaming series looks to offer us the end-game which all the villains have been working towards, with The Penguin, Harvey Two-Face, and Harley Quinn having all survived up to this point. It appears as though these 3 iconic baddies have now banded together following The Joker's death in order to take over Gotham City once and for all. And with that, Batman appears to have finally come into his own as The Dark Knight, leaving the learning curve behind and fully embracing his role as the protector of Gotham City. With this next-gen instalment reportedly being the final entry in the Arkham gaming series, it's imperative that not only do they get the gaming mechanics and next generation looks all absolutely right, but they MUST get the story right. This tale MUST come to a satisfying conclusion in order to have a successful finish to this outstanding series of groundbreaking games. The story must be tight and coherent, at times shocking, but ultimately conclusive so Arkham can take its place among the gaming greats of all time. And we must return to the Asylum one last time.
