Batman: Arkham Trilogy - 15 Insanely Cool Easter Eggs You Totally Missed
9. Man-Bat's Reappearance
Game: Arkham Knight
One of the most memorable moments from Arkham Knight was stumbling across Man-Bat, the genetically-modified form of Dr Kirk Langstrom, for the first time. As Batman soared across the rooftops of Gotham, grappling up to a specific building caused Man-Bat to jump out and scream, thus triggering the side-quest. This scene occurred out of nowhere with no hints that it was coming, which made it one of the best introductions for a villain in the entire series.
Once you defeated Man-Bat and locked him up in the GCPD, he returned to his human form and sat around in his cell, just like the other villains you captured. However, some fans discovered that, if you play the game on the 31st October, Man-Bat would reappear on the rooftop, just like the first time you saw him. Seeing as you had previously beaten him, players thought this could have been some sort of glitch. When they travelled to the GCPD building to see if he was still there, they discovered that Man-Bat had indeed escaped his cell.
As this easter egg relies on you happening to play the game on Halloween, the majority of fans missed out. If you want to see this Easter egg for yourself without having to mess around changing your console settings, Halloween is only a few days away!
