Batman: Arkham Trilogy - 15 Insanely Cool Easter Eggs You Totally Missed
10. Scarecrow's Secret Boat
Game: Arkham City
After the secret room in Arkham Asylum went unfound, Rocksteady thought a secret room in Arkham City would also be impossible to find. Unfortunately for them, someone came across it only a few days after launch. It’s hard to tell since everyone found the easter egg after reading about it online, but chances are the majority of players wouldn’t have stumbled across Scarecrow’s secret room by themselves.
It was tucked away in a random boat that looked like part of the scenery of the game. Even if you stood on this boat, you still would have had to randomly select the hacking tool and decide to just use it without any sort of prompt. If fans did somehow know to do this on the exact spot, they would have dropped through a hatch in the boat and gone into a first person view, like during the visitors centre scenes in Asylum. There were crates of insects in the room, along with a lone henchman tied to a chair, who suddenly woke up screaming before dying if you got too close to him. This secret room was just one of the hints in City that pointed towards Scarecrow coming back for the final game.
