4. Batarangs Are Back Too... But Not For Combat?
What would Batman be without his trusty batarangs? Probably Boomerang-man, which... doesn't really have the same ring to it, does it?
Point being, the humble batarang is a heavily important part of the character. It's the hero's most iconic gadget, and has been used to disarm, diffuse and defame on many occasions. They've also been a staple of Bat-games since the very get-go of his industry career. Chucking them around in VR, then, would probably seem like the next logical step, right?
Rocksteady certainly thought so, as players will now get the chance to sweatily hold onto their move controllers as they gingerly throw digitised bat-shaped projectiles in their living room. For what purpose we do not know, but I imagine a level of puzzle solving could come into play later on in the detective experience.
