Battlefield 1: 15 Crucial Tips & Tricks The Game Doesn't Tell You

7. The Ammo And Med Kit Crates Are Useless

Another returning feature that will no doubt baffle classic Battlefield veterans, this time around there's actually a difference between the packs and the pouches of ammo and health that you can use in the game's multiplayer.

And while nobody ever used the pouches in previous games, there's a genuine distinction between the two in DICE's latest shooter. Quickly depleted but incredibly mobile, you can toss the pouches great distances to help a friend in need - but probably only them, as these small care packages only hold enough health to fully heal one person.

The packs on the other hand, are great if you're stuck in a tight situation with a group of friendlies, and the increased radius and health available will mean that the entire squad will feel the benefits of your actions.

But for most players who like to keep on the move, pouches are what you should focus on, throwing them around liberally to anyone who wants them. Packs on the other hand only come in handy when you're part of a dedicated squad - and even then you need to have a flat surface available to actually deploy them.
