2. Planes In GTA IV
A number of planes
were cut from Grand Theft Auto IV such as the Andromada, Dodo and a new plane to the series, title unknown, thought to be a fighter jet similar to the Hydra in San Andreas. GTA IV only featured a variety of helicopters as flyable vehicles in the final product of the game, despite the inclusion of an airport in-game. Aeroplanes could be seen landing and taking off though could not be interacted with in any way. It is suspected that planes were removed from the game due to Liberty City being too small and thus rendering them a pointless addition to the title. I don't know about everyone else, but I got bored fast of Helicopters and longed to fly a plane like in the game's predecessor San Andreas. I personally feel planes could have been properly utilized in GTA IV but alas, the developers didn't agree.
