Before GTA V: 10 Greatest Side Characters in GTA History

8. OG Loc

One of San Andreas€™ most overtly hilarious characters to my memory, Jeffrey €œOG Loc€ Cross is the epitome of the word wannabe. Too small, unassuming and cowardly to join the Grove Street Gang but still as determined to affiliate himself, OG Loc settled on becoming a gangster-rap icon (despite being about as gangster as Vanilla Ice), and started committing meaningless small crimes in order to land himself in jail to improve his street rep. Our story with Loc begins upon his release from his meagre jail stint. CJ aids him on the road to becoming a gangster-rap superstar by stealing a rival rapper, Madd Dogg€™s rhyme book; only to later aid Madd Dogg in his quest for vengeance. It€™s a fantastic and often hilarious storyline, which intertwines with the death of the Grove Street Gang itself (Big Smoke uses Loc and his record deal to launder his dirty money). Upon Big Smoke€™s death, OG Loc€™s fate is left unresolved, so there€™s been rumours abound that the little s**t might yet return to play a role in GTA V. I for one sincerely hope he does.
