Sound
Another area that Medal of Honour traditionally is pretty good at is the sound effects (no surprise given the support they've had from Steven Spielberg over the years), and Warfighter really isn't a whole lot different. Granted, it doesn't steer far from what has preceded it, but when played with in-ear headphones, the punchiness of the gunshots and the score is undeniable. Being a realistic military shooter, this also means it doesn't have a lot of diversity, but what it does it does very well. Voice acting across the board is also thoroughly decent. Black Ops 2 has perhaps an unfair advantage simply because its aural palette is so much broader; not only do we have regular gunshot sounds, but given the futuristic array of weaponry and fighter drones on display, Treyarch's sound department get to play with a lot more toys. Also, roping in Trent Reznor to compose the title theme can't hurt, nor can the addition of Hollywood actors like Sam Worthington, Michael Rooker and Tony Todd to provide steely voice work. Though both are solid in this department, Black Ops 2 just had a little more glitz and diversity. WINNER: Black Ops 2
