Breath Of The Wild 2: 7 Details You May Have Missed From The E3 2021 Trailer
6. Story
We still don't have the clearest picture of the story of Breath of the Wild 2. We have seen less than five minutes worth of content relating to the game afterall, however with the second trailer we are starting to get enough information to make some educated guesses at least.
The trailers seem to tell a singular story. Link and Zelda go into a dungeon and chaos ensues. Zelda falls down a hole and Link gains magical powers (Zelda really got the short end of the stick here didn't she). These events are because of Ganondorf who then does... something that sends Link to the Skyloft wannabe.
If we want to speculate further it's unlikely that Zelda will simply be a damsel in distress. This iteration of Zelda has proven to be much more capable than that. She could always be holding Ganondorf back again in the floating Hyrule Castle, and if that's the case then she must be feeling a serious case of déjà vu.
Link will eventually have to intervene in the fight between Zelda and Ganondorf and save the world once again
