Call Of Duty: Every Game Ranked From Worst To Best

6. Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3

Call Of Duty Franchise
Activision

Before Activision went to space, Black Ops III was the most ambitious Call Of Duty game released, with four-player online co-op play, a huge Zombie mode and a total rebuild of the fundamental movement system. No more were you limited to jumping, rolling, crawling and walking: you could run walls, double-jump, vault obstacles and power-slide impressively, without surrendering the ability to shoot enemies.

The developments were a little... interesting at first, and the story mode isn't as good as some of the games that rank lower here, but the multiplayer and the new style of play were more than enough to make up for that. And there was a brilliant Nightmare mode bringing fan-favourite zombies into the fold.

The multiplayer also went through development, adding specialists with special skills (some of which aren't actually all that useful), and the agenda to freshen up was definitely successful.
