Casting The Perfect Red Dead Redemption Film

The Wild West was certainly the land of opportunity for all kinds of people. This was especially the case for one lying and cheating degenerate known as Nigel West Dickens.

Nigel was a con artist hiding under the disguise of a travelling salesman, who promised anyone unfortunate enough to be drawn in with his sales pitch that any ailment they had could be cured with his miracle elixir. Fortunately, Marston is able to see through Nigels lies, but does aid him with selling his elixir so long as Nigel helps him in return.

The dynamic between the two is fun to watch, as they are both experienced in getting money from people through dishonest means, but have very different styles and personalities.

Paul Giamatti is the perfect pick to play Nigel as he has a proven track record of strong supporting roles in films like Saving Mr Banks and The Illusionist. His recent success on tv show Billions further demonstrates his abilities.

Paul would be capable of bringing the showmanship side of Nigel to life while also being a great contrast to some of the more serious characters in the film.
