How anyone puts up with these honestly-quite-broken-in-their-new-form levels is beyond me, though if you've found yourself smashing controllers and rage-quitting after attempting these rope bridge abominations, know there is another way.

Just like in the 1996 original, you can hop up onto the ropes themselves - just be careful you don't slip off as the new, more rounded 'hitboxes' for these objects can cause Crash to plummet very easily.

Once you're in position I'd suggest using the D-pad to ensure you're walking directly upwards/forwards - you can even leap up and over the middle struts if you do so - just watch out for the occasional checkpoint to mark your progress incase it all goes sideways.
