Enter Dark Souls, ever bearing the troll face to startle its poor, unsuspecting victims. You may or may not be aware of the concept of invasions, where basically another player can invade your world as a phantom and make your life that much harder. This was hilariously annoying in Dark Souls 1, but you could only be invaded if you were in human form. So if you didn't want that extra heart-ache, all you had to do was stay in undead form. Now, in Dark Souls II, you will be constantly prone to invasion, regardless of what form you are in. So even if you've killed all enemies in sight, you're not safe - you may have those red phantom jerks to deal with. You may think that this will be unfair and make things frustrating as hell, but it's going to be a big factor in the kind of feeling that the developers are trying to create: that of constant threat. Of course, you could just sever your ethernet cable and play offline, I'm sure no-one would call you a spoilsport. Spoilsport.
