Destiny 2: 10 Reasons To Be Excited For The Future

With the announcement of Destiny 2's next expansion, Beyond Light, a few lingering plot threads are finally about to be tied up and probably let loose in all manner of directions.

First up, there's the Darkness, an unseen enemy teased across the series that we got a rather brief glimpse of for the first time at the end of Destiny 2's original campaign. Since then, the teases have grown into a full fledged story arc featuring Eris Morn, a mysterious triangle shaped ship previously undiscovered underneath the Moon's crust and a rather scary interaction with the entity itself.

We will finally have the answers on the Darkness in Beyond Light, but even more interesting than that is the return of a character not seen since our first trip through Destiny in 2014. Yes, the Exo Stranger is back and ready to finally divulge details on her whereabouts after all this time. So many questions have shrouded the character over the six years since her departure but now we're just months away from potentially discovering her true identity and her potential ties to the Darkness itself, as she's set to play a key role in our next adventure.
