Destiny 2: 10 Reasons To Be Excited For The Future
5. New Locations
Everyone remembers the first time they laid their eyes on the Dreadnaught or explored the hidden locations of the Tangled Shore. There's nothing better in a video game as vast as Destiny than to discover something new, and soon there will be a number of new locations to sink our explorer loving teeth into.
Starting with the Beyond Light expansion, Bungie will introduce the frozen peaks of Europa, one of Jupiter's moons and the setting for an entirely new zone and story arc. While very little is known about what we may discover there, what we do know is that the Fallen have (pun intended) fallen back to the bitter cold moon to re-group and the Darkness isn't far behind.
Europa was originally teased as a location during Destiny 1's development, so it's good to finally see it come to fruition, mysteries and all. Beyond that there's the potential of more new locations across the future expansions through 2022.
There's also the returning Cosmodrome that, like the Moon's return in the Shadowkeep expansion, will be revised and given a fresh coat of paint since the last time we fast travelled there.
