Destiny 2: 10 Reasons To Be Excited For The Future

2. The Return Of Old Favourites

The aforementioned Cosmodrome is set to make a comeback during Beyond Light, having had brief cameos across other pieces of Destiny 2 content.

Originally the first location in Destiny 1, this new take on Old Russia will be updated to fit within the Destiny 2 eco-system, though how certain story beats or the original opening levels will play out is still unknown for now.

What is known, however, is that the return will be split into two, with a smaller portion of the Cosmodrome opening to players at first before expanding to a full sized location at a later date.

It's not the only previous piece of Destiny content that will make the jump into Destiny 2. The Vault of Glass, the first and arguably best Raid instance, will be back open for exploration in the future too.

Again, the experience will be updated and no-doubt will be at a much higher level than its original intention, but it's good to have some old familiar faces and locations to revisit after all this time and, fingers crossed, it won't be the only classic raid (or location) to receive a face lift once Year 4 kicks into gear.

Still, one question remains. Where's Ice Breaker?!
