Destiny 2: Ranking All Exotic Weapons From Worst To Best

Here's the best of the best. These exotics are ones that consistently outshine others, and from time to time you will be struggling to decide which of these you actually want to run.

Riskrunner is an SMG that shines when you take damage, arc damage to be more specific. When taking arc damage, this gun's exotic perk will activate which will increase the gun's damage, chain lightning between close targets taking damage and return ammo to you clip. In the right circumstances, there's a chance you can fire this entire gun's supply of ammo without once reloading or letting go of the trigger.

For those familiar with Destiny exotics of old, think of this as the new Zhalo Supercell - an automatic arc gun that completely destroys adds in PvE.

As for the Crucible, it's not an awful choice. However, just like with the Skyburner's Oath, it will constantly be outclasses by the few guns that are consistently tearing through the Crucible right now.
