2. Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6wlvYh0h63k The six and a half-minute long demo of Rainbow Six: Siege sparked a ton of fan fever, as the long-dormant series had been stuck in a confusing state of purgatory during the disastrous development of Patriots in 2011. This was further complicated when the godfather of modern spy fiction, Tom Clancy, passed away in 2013. Despite the troubles of its past, Rainbow Six emerged at E3 like a phoenix to become one of the greatest gaming reveals of all time. Rainbow Six is back, and boy does it look amazing. The demo for Siege showcases multiplayer footage of a hostage rescue, where each team uses their unique abilities to either save or control the young woman. It's a harrowing six minutes, as the back and forth confrontation between the two teams, as well as the safety of the hostage, makes for some really exciting scenarios. It ends with an ambiguous resolution, making the wait into 2015 even more painful, but it's certain to be one of the most anticipated titles of next year. And with Ubisoft at the helm, we can rest easy knowing that we'll get a surefire Game of the Year contender.
