17. Fable Legends
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=caZbN6mkJ7s If there's one thing that Fable never seemed to lose over the years, it was its trademark sense of humour and playfulness. In an era where some game franchises go down the path of "dark" and "gritty" realism, Fable retained the desire to be fun without re-invention. While Fable Legends certainly doesn't look to change this aspect of the game, it does appear to take the franchise into a interesting new direction all its own - promising a unique online multiplayer experience. As one of the four heroes in the game, you go about your business with three other friends, slaying monsters and putting down trolls to collect more loot. But the rub is that another player is involved, taking control of the villainous overlord that watches the action from above with God-like omnipotence, using all of his powers to try and take you down. It's a very exciting take on online multiplayer, taking an innovative path towards player-to-player interaction.
