4. The Protagonist Looks Smuggler-Esque

The hero (or anti-hero) of this title is bound to be a Han Solo-esque character of a morally dubious disposition. I mean, who hangs out in Mos Eisley who isn't of some sort of questionable background? They're all smugglers, Bounty Hunters, and villains engaged in criminal activity. It's synonymous with the spaceport, and is a location ingrained in the minds of Star Wars fans everywhere. Putting a good character there, then, would seem a tad out of place.

All sorts of people joined the Rebel Alliance; profiteers, idealists, criminals - all formed a part of a diverse rebellion that unified to topple the totalitarian grip of the empire. Whether this character will be reluctant to do so is a question best left for another day, but even then, who's to guarantee he'll be taking up arms against the empire in the first place?

If anything, the positive reaction and subsequent fan outcry regarding 1313 may have even spurred Visceral to adopt a tale entrenched in moral ambiguity. It would certainly make for a change of pace compared to the lighter, more adventurous tone of Disney's trilogy.
