E3 2017: 8 Ups & 7 Downs From Microsoft's Conference
1. Too Much Zooming Out From Gameplay Videos
It's basically an annual complaint at this point, but did Microsoft's conference really need to feature so much damn zooming out? EA's conference the day before was pretty much fine in this regard, but the producers for Microsoft's show did it incessantly throughout.
Seriously, what's the point? Is it a way to drive people to re-watch trailers and gameplay from the official site afterwards and drive up traffic? It's infuriating and wildly unnecessary.
As disappointing as the Xbox One X reveal was, at least there was still plenty to ensure the conference was far from being an actual trainwreck...
