E3 2018: 10 Best Things At Microsoft's Conference
5. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
Although it may not have been the Bloodborne sequel that everyone was asking for, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is potentially even more exciting.
With several of other FromSoftware's other games like Dark Souls 3 premiering at Microsoft's conference during E3, there was a good bet that if From's next game wasn't Bloodborne 2 then it would be appearing there.
Taking some cues from Nioh, Sekiro looks set to have much faster gameplay. We see the protagonist fighting several huge enemies whilst also using a grapple hook to get around the environment quickly.
The prosthetic arm (a strange trend throughout E3 this year) is one of the coolest aspects of Sekiro for sure. The fact that it switches between an axe, a razor shield and a grappling hook really opens up the gameplay to be something much different from previous FromSoftware games.
Another of the main mechanics is the fact that you seemingly have the ability to die and be revived, although the extent to this ability is unknown.
Sekiro came out of E3 with everyone's eyes on it, and that's pretty great for a new IP.
