E3 2018: 10 Things That Must Happen At Nintendo's Conference
2. Animal Crossing For Switch Revealed
After the disappointment of Pocket Camp, it's time for the true Animal Crossing sequel to come out of the shadows and blow our minds.
There hasn't been a console release for Animal Crossing since the Wii release of City Folk back in 2008, which is ten years ago now. A whole decade since the last Animal Crossing game for consoles is absolutely ridiculous.
Even the last handheld version of Animal Crossing: New Leaf, released five years ago now which is a pretty substantial length of time for one of Nintendo's most popular games.
There is no game out there for Nintendo that would work better for the Switch than Animal Crossing. The ability to play the game anywhere is exactly what made the handheld versions of Animal Crossing so successful. Having the ability to do that in a much bigger game with better graphics is now finally possible with the Switch.
Even if it appears in a similar vein to how Metroid Prime 4 did last year with just a tease, getting this would be amazing.
