E3 2018: 10 Things That Must Happen At Square Enix's Conference

2. Final Fantasy VII Remake Makes An Appearance

It's always a gamble whether or not the Final Fantasy VII Remake will appear at E3, but this year seems like the perfect time to do so.

With Kingdom Hearts III releasing later this year, it makes a lot of sense for Square Enix to start focusing on their next huge game, which just so happens to be Final Fantasy VII Remake.

It also makes a lot of sense considering how excited people are for the game and how much hype would be created by finally showing it off again.

The only thing that makes this more unlikely is how troubled Final Fantasy VII's development has been behind the scenes. Although nothing official has been said, the episodic release schedule and development changes seem to indicate a lot of trouble.

Still, it's possible that Square Enix has made enough progress with the game to be able to show it off to the public. Seeing the reaction it got when it was announced, they'd be silly not to.
