E3 2018: 15 Last Minute Rumours You Need To Know
8. Star Fox Grand Prix Is A Thing That Exists
Over the last few weeks, word has done the rounds that Retro Studios is hard at work on a Star Fox racing game which will be called "Star Fox Grand Prix" and announced at E3.
Though it was quickly deemed an F-Zero clone by some fans, subsequent leaks suggest that this isn't the case at all, and it's actually more akin to the 2000 PS1 game NGen Racing, with players able to shoot rival racers to gain a speed boost.
The leak adds that each Grand Prix has three tracks and a boss battle, and there's even a hub area to interact with classic franchise characters (while Nintendo may add the likes of Donkey Kong in the future).
How Likely Is It?: The leak comes from frequent Nintendo sleuth Liam Robertson, so given his strong track record and claim that he's heard this information from several sources, it's incredibly easy to believe.
