1. No Sign Of Skate 4 (Again)

After the Skate 3 servers were switched back on this past week for the first time in many years, speculation ran rampant that EA would be announcing Skate 4 during their show.

Sadly, that didn't happen.

It seems like an especially cruel move to turn the servers back on so close to E3, as this ignited significant and very understandable hope that the long-awaited sequel might finally be on the way.

Considering how the skating game genre is pretty much a festering wasteland in the wake of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5's failure, this game is agonisingly overdue. Next year, maybe?

As irksome as these elements of the show all were, though, EA's conference wasn't without its easy positives. Here's what worked...
