E3 2018: Predicting Release Dates For The Biggest Games
2. Nioh 2
One of the more left-field game reveals at E3 was Nioh 2, following the critical and commercial success of Team Ninja's original action RPG early last year.
Though Nioh had an extremely strained and protracted development history after first being announced in 2005 (!), one suspects things will run just a little more smoothly this time.
Release Date: November 1, 2019. Perhaps somewhat optimistically, we're betting that Team Ninja gets the game done in a reasonable time-frame, even though that teaser trailer gave so little away.
It wouldn't shock anyone if it slid to 2020 and even to next-gen platforms, but you sure as hell won't be waiting a dozen years to play it this time.
