E3 2019: 10 Biggest Surprises That Blew Us Away

With the story of Dishonoured concluded, or at least on a long hiatus, along with the Death of the Outsider, Arkane's new title was predicted to be a Prey sequel by most.

Instead, we were given a brief glimpse at another new IP from the renowned studio, this one being called Deathloop.

Much like the aforementioned 12 Minutes, Deathloop features some sort of Groundhog Day-esque time-loop, with the two characters seen in the trailer fighting against each other, one trying to maintain this loop and the freedom it offers and the other trying to break it to end the repeated suffering it brings.

Little about the gameplay has been revealed, but the 'approach any situation any way' gameplay ethos of Arkane's previous outings seems to have been maintained, and considering the success the studio has had with this design philosophy in the past, this game will likely be a delight.
