E3 2019: 10 Video Game Reveals That NEED To Happen

7. Ubisoft FINALLY Reveal Splinter Cell

Sam Fisher needs to come back. Ever since the criminally underrated Splinter Cell: Blacklist underperformed in 2013, the stealth franchise has remained on ice while Ubisoft focuses on their other properties. It would be annoying enough if the game had just remained in hibernation while the publisher kept their mouth shut, but it's the teases throughout the years that have made series' disappearance difficult to swallow.

From Sam Fisher popping up in Ghost Recon to Ubisoft executives joking that they're working on a new game, Splinter Cell has never really left the conversation, which has made it all the more frustrating when no new game materialises.

But Ubi wouldn't keep bringing up Sam and co. if they weren't working on something, and with the Walmart Canada leak featuring a listing for a new game, it's practically all but confirmed. Fortunately, if there's a year for it to be at E3, it's this one. With no new Assassin's Creed, Skull and Bones delayed, the new Ghost Recon announced and Watch Dogs 3 being the worst kept secret in the industry, Ubi need a killer app like Splinter Cell for their conference.
