E3 2019: 10 Video Game Reveals That NEED To Happen
8. Bethesda Address The Fallout 76 Debacle
Speaking of developers and publishers needing to spend time at E3 atoning for their past mistakes, Bethesda absolutely need to honestly and frankly address the Fallout 76 controversy.
Like Anthem, I don't need to labour the point about why this game was disappointing, and after so many months of dropping the ball, Bethesda need to acknowledge that they messed up. Not in a tongue-in-cheek way like when Todd Howard poked fun at his "it just works!" comments, but actually assess their failures in a way that would reignite confidence in the company.
Fallout 76 could have been something special, and there are ways to make it work, but if Bethesda come out at E3 pretending everything is rosy and that their reputation hasn't taken a hit, it's going to look incredibly arrogant, and like they're out of touch with their own players.
