EA Sports UFC: 10 Fighter Ratings That Must Be Upgraded

7. Miesha Tate

Overall: 90

Striking: 86

Ground : 88

Submissions: 91

Every time Ronda Rousey flattens an opponent as she did at the last PPV event against Alexis Daivs, Miesha Tate€™s stock as a fighter rises somewhat. Of course Miesha didn€™t even come close to beating the dominant woman€™s bantamweight champion but the fact that she was even able to survive in the Octagon with Rousey for three rounds makes her better than all the other women the champ has pulverised. At UFC 175 Rousey smashed her way through a shell-shocked Alexis Davis in just 16-seconds. Miesha lasted far longer than this but is unjustly rated as being Davis€™ inferior. Moreover, Tate€™s striking is worse in EA€™s game than Davis even though the ex-Strikeforce champion was actually able to beat Rousey on the feet. It might seem peculiar to argue that Tate is underrated based on her loss, but in a division completely dominated by Rousey this is one of the few ways we can ascertain who the next best female fighter is. Miesha Tate is generally a very well rounded fighter who arguably could have done even better against Ronda had she not kept clinching with the champion. Her decent wrestling and submission skills mean that she is defeinitely one of the UFC€™s best women bantamweights, though this hasn€™t been acknowledged in EA Sports UFC.
