Overall: 96Striking: 95Ground: 96Submissions: 99 Rated as being the fourth best fighter in the overall game, in light of his recent loss, the former-bantamweight champions is certainly no longer worthy of such a high rating. A 96 overall stat may have been justified before as the Brazilian had been riding an insane winning steak stretching all the way back to 2005, but it must be remembered that the vast majority of these fights were against opponents who were not UFC calibre fighters in other organisations. It was the loss of his title to T.J Dillashaw a fighter not currently included in the game that confirmed that the Baron had been overrated. We dont like to judge fighters based on one bad performance, but Dillashaws victory over the former #1 pound-for-pound contender was so dominant that it is now impossible to say that the 27-year-old is the fourth best fighter in the UFC. After hurting him badly in the first round, the Team Alpha Male Fighter dominated the former-champion before finally putting him out of his misery in the fifth round with a masterful head kick. Baraos submission rating of 99 is particularly conspicuous though he has several submission wins to his name, Baraos championship reign was primarily defined by his wild, dangerous striking. Rating his submission skills as being superior to the likes of Demian Maia, Ronda Rousey and Urijah Faber is ludicrous. Suggested Overall Rating: 90
