Fedor Emelianenko was never officially employed by UFC, but so what? If we can have Bruce Lee then we can have The Last Emperor. Fedor is regarded by many as the single greatest mixed martial artist of all time. His record speaks for itself: 34-4-1 with two of losses coming due to a doctors stoppage. Fedor has fought some of the all time greats such as Andrei Arlovski, Mirko Cro-Cop Filipovic and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and has beat them all. Even with the blemishes on his record Fedor is still considered the best. He was always considered an undersized heavyweight who fought in the land of the giants and almost always came out on top because of his incredible technical skill. The world of MMA loves this Russian fighting machine so he is certainly needed on the game. The chills we would feel seeing him stand in the Octagon with that absolutely terrifying stoic look on his face, beautifully captured by the game's awesome graphics, would be truly memorable. Finally wed be able to test him against the UFC fighters he never got to fight and prove to ourselves that Fedor can hang in there and even beat Cain Velasquez While it may not seem that this is likely due to him never having fought in the promotion, the UFC now own all rights to Pride, Affliction and Strikeforce who all were home to Emelianenko at one point in time so maybe, just maybe, they can use that to their advantage and give every MMA fan what they really want.
