EA Sports UFC: 10 Tips To Always Win

7. Leg Kicks Aplenty

Don€™t let leg kicking be the reserve of fighters like Jose Aldo and Edson Barboza (assuming he is ever added to the roster of available players). Over the years in the UFC we have seen how devastating a well-placed leg kick can be in the Octagon and this has certainly been translated into EA Sports€™ game. Too often €“ particularly in online games €“ players go head-hunting. They throw a disproportionate volume of strikes at the head, forgetting to work the legs and body. Players have become wise to this trend and so tend to just block their face. This leaves their legs wide open to your barrage of leg kicks. This method of attack will not only inflict damage and slow your opponent down but will also limit their offensive and defensive wrestling. This means you can weaken their legs with your attack before shooting in for an easy takedown. Inflicting enough damage on the legs will eventually force your opponent to drop to the mat, allowing you to leap on top of them and unload with vicious ground-and-pound. It€™s a shame you can€™t outright finish them with leg kicks but we€™ll settle for this relatively easy route to victory.
